As with last September, Fed Chair Powell & Company will be challenging the Bond Market Vigilantes anew.
For a while last September and for several months out, the Fed cutting rates despite sticky inflation, $2 trillion deficits and the rest didn’t sit well with these “recently-resurrected” watchdogs of the Treasury market. From September-December last year the Fed cut short rates by 100 basis points…but longer-term Treasury yields ROSE by that much and more for a while.
In today’s missive I lay out a fairly similar setup this go-round as The Fed gets set to challenge the Bond Vigilantes once more.
Next up today is THIS UPDATED PROFILE of BacTech Environmental (CSE-BAC; OTCQB-BCCEF) via a fresh discussion of all the pertinent moving parts with C.E.O. Ross Orr.
I spend the first segment of this video laying out the evolving favorable policy and economic environment; the form of “critical mass” being reached to foster more of BacTech’s kind of downstream metals processing breakthroughs.
Ross and I go on to discuss the two key stories with the company, either one of which represents potential economic benefit to BacTech and its shareholders countless times beyond the company’s present tiny market cap.
