ALX Resources Corp. has recently announced the results of its 2024 winter drilling program at the Gibbons Creek Uranium Project in Saskatchewan, as well as its upcoming summer 2024 exploration plans. The company, in collaboration with Trinex Lithium Ltd., is on track to earn an initial 51% interest in the Project by 2029.

The 2024 drilling program confirmed low-level uranium mineralization in several holes, with significant results including anomalous uranium readings. The company has planned a comprehensive helicopter-borne survey to cover different exploration prospects at the site. Additional drilling is expected to follow after the analysis of the survey data.

The winter drilling program aimed to test for the continuity of uranium mineralization previously discovered in the area. Results from the drilling showed uranium mineralization in different areas, with some intersections exhibiting strong radiometric responses. Further drilling in the summer will focus on searching for fault offsets that could lead to the deposition of uranium mineralization.

Gibbons Creek is located in a region with a history of uranium occurrences, making it a highly prospective area for exploration. With plans for continued exploration and development, ALX Resources Corp. aims to unlock the full potential of the Gibbons Creek Uranium Project and maximize the value of the mineral resources in the region.
