VHM on Track to Reach First Production in 2025

The countdown is on for VHM, with the explorer on track to reach first production in 2025 at its flagship Goschen rare earths and mineral sands project in north-west Victoria. Following a successful public hearing process on the project’s environment effects statement (EES), VHM is gearing up to move full steam ahead.

The positive outcome of the EES will pave the way for the Earth Resources Regulator assessment of VHM’s mining licence application and mark a significant step towards the company’s final investment decision. With plans to supply key rare earth minerals like neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium, and terbium, VHM is already attracting potential buyers.

A recent offtake agreement with Shenghe Resources for the first three years of operation demonstrates the strong interest in VHM’s product. Additionally, the company’s plans to produce a mixed rare earth carbonate product with exceptional recoveries further solidify its position in the market.

Leading the charge at VHM is managing director and CEO Ron Douglas, who brings a wealth of experience in project development roles. Douglas is optimistic about the project’s potential and envisions Victoria becoming a critical minerals hub with the establishment of a domestic rare earths supply chain.

With a focus on sustainable mining practices and land rehabilitation, VHM is committed to creating job and investment opportunities for the region. As the company moves closer to its production goal, the future looks promising for VHM and the Australian critical minerals industry as a whole.
