Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck sees earlymorning network broadcasts mainly yawning about inflation

The inflation rate is at a brand-new four-decade high, hitting 7.9 percent in February.

CNBC’s Rick Santelli comprehensive what the February numbers reveal:

#BREAKING: February inflation numbers are in (known as the Consumer Price Index) and they are certainly substantial — up 7.9% from last year, which is the greatest in 40 years.

Worse yet, it’s an boost of 0.8% from last month.

Minus food and energy, it’s still half a percent.

That’s a huge story, best? Well, not for everyone obviously. According to Newsbusters’ Curtis Houck, just one of 3 network earlymorning reveals covered the story. On the intense side, nevertheless, the network earlymorning broadcast that did cover the inflation story (CBS) sunk Biden’s claim that inflation is duetothefactthat of “Putin’s cost walking”:

.@CBSMornings was the just broadcast network earlymorning broadcast (ABC, CBS, or NBC) to cover the release of the February inflation numbers, consistingof an boost of 7.9% from last year.@jillonmoney advised us this was “mostly…BEFORE Russia gotinto” & it will “get evenworse.”

Two of the 3 network earlymorning reveals should not have figured out a method to spin that news in Biden’s favor, so they simply avoided the story.

Remember when the Biden administration was dismissing increasing inflation as “transitory”? Good times.
